We use advanced AI and machine learning algorithms to analyze lip movements in videos. Our technology processes the visual information frame by frame, interpreting the shapes and movements of the speaker's mouth to generate accurate text transcriptions of the spoken words.
The process takes between a few seconds for a very short and low resolution video to a few minutes for longer videos with a high resolution.
Important note: Make sure your video only include one person's face, otherwise our program will not work properly. If your video contains more than one person's face you will need to crop it first.
It can be quite precise but is heavily dependent on the quality of the video and how visible the lips are. Our technology has shown accuracy rates of up to 95% in environments with clear video quality, ample lighting and speakers close to the camera. But real-world scenarios can vary, and factors such as video quality, lighting, lip visibility and facial obstructions can affect accuracy.
To get a good idea of our app performances in different conditions we offer free lip reading on a limited set of videos that cover a wide array of scenarios. With varying degrees of video quality, lighting and lip visibility.
Yes, we offer a selection of demo videos that you can process for free. These demos cover various scenarios such as clear speech, accented speech, different video qualities and lighting conditions. This allows you to evaluate our performance across different settings before committing to process your own videos. Once you're satisfied with the results, you can easily purchase credits that will allow you to process your personal videos.
We currently support MP4, MOV, MKV and WebM video files. Since we're a web-based application, you can upload videos from any device whether you're on desktop, Android, or iPhone. We accept videos ranging from 2 seconds to 40 seconds in length. For optimal results, ensure that the speaker's face and mouth are clearly visible in the video. If you have videos in other formats, you will need to convert them before uploading.

For the best results, it's better your videos meet the following criteria:
- The speaker's face should be well-lit and clearly visible
- Both Frontal and profile view of the spearker's face work. But for a profile view, half of the lips should be visible at minimum.
- Ideally, record in good lighting conditions
- Avoid videos where the speaker's mouth is obscured (by masks, hands, or objects)
- The closer the camera is to the speaker's face, the better (while keeping the full face in frame)
- Only one person face should be visible at the same time. This last criteria is mandatory.
These conditions will significantly improve the accuracy of our transcription.
We offer free lip reading on a limited set of videos that cover a wide array of scenarios for you to test our programs.
We offer flexible pricing based on your usage through credits. The number of credits necessary for a video depends on the length of the video. Once you upload a video you will see the number of credits needed to process it, you can then purchase the necessary amount of credits.
To make payments fully secure we are using the widely adopted Stripe payment system ensuring bank-level security standards. We do not store any information about your card.
Your data privacy and security are our top priorities. All your uploaded videos are only ever visible to you. We do not share your data with any third parties. Our systems are designed with a "privacy by design" approach, protecting your informations from unauthorized access. You can choose to delete any of your uploaded videos at any time with one simple click and they will be permanently deleted from our servers.
